NASET Schools of excellence
Dear Robert Carter:
Upon review of the documentation and information submitted to the National Association of Special Education Teachers (NASET), we would like to congratulate Austine School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing on having met the standards to be selected as 2009-2010 NASET School of Excellence. This distinction has been bestowed upon only a few select qualified licensed private special education schools in the State of Vermont. Selection as a NASET School of Excellence is the highest level of recognition a private special education school can achieve through our professional association. This honor is presented to private special education schools that meet rigorous professional criteria and have demonstrated truly exceptional dedication, commitment and achievement in the field of special education.
Having met the criteria as a NASET School of Excellence, you will receive a certificate of merit to display throughout your school. An optional plaque will be available and we will provide this option to you in a subsequent email communication.
Austine School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing will also be featured as a NASET School of Excellence on our website (www.naset.org), as well as a link to this list on the website of the National Association of Parents with Children in Special Education (www.napcse.org).
Please look for a follow up email requesting your desired text and logo for display on our websites within the Schools of Excellence areas. There will be an initial list with your school name along with basic information on the NASET website. The information we will request is for a separate individual webpage which will contain more details about your school.
